Watch this exciting 8-minute video:"When New England Prays 2008: The New England Alliance Prayer Movement Vision"

1. Embrace the vision
First of all, we invite individuals to take time to pray into the vision and ask the Lord to lead all of us into deeper repentance and united action.

2. Share the invitation to “When New England Prays 2008”
We are asking people to share this vision with leaders in states, denominations, counties, communities, churches, ministries, and families.  The most important part of this vision is that it is practical and relevant in our daily lives.  We envision groups of leaders seeking the Lord together down to the local level and living out the 4-part process of preparation, repentance, agreements for united action, and ongoing transformation.

3. Declare your support
We are asking leaders and other participants to share 2 or 3 lines about why they are becoming part of this movement and/or what they believe the Lord is asking us to do.  We will be sharing these witnesses in the states, counties, and communities of New England.

What is the vision of the New England Alliance?

Our ultimate vision is to trust the Lord to bring about the transformation of our society by a four-part-process of preparation, repentance, agreements to united action, and ongoing transformation.  This four-part vision is based on the book of Nehemiah and other biblical passages describing the ingredients of revival and awakening (2 Chron. 7:14, Joel 2, Rev. 2-3, 2 Chron. 20, et. al.).

Our vision statement reads: "Remembering the covenants of the past, we purpose together to seek the manifest presence of God across the six New England states so that revival might once again visit this region, bringing awakening to the Church and transformation to the culture.

“We therefore, invite the six states to gather their denominations, counties, communities, churches, ministries and families of New England to enter into a time of preparation, repentance and united action.  We will gather together on October 4th, 2008 to celebrate this process with a view toward continued collaboration.
