Global Day of Prayer

On Pentecost Sunday, May 11, gather with fellow believers from all over New England, earnestly seeking God for powerful and life-giving revival and transformation. The focus is not on a single day of prayer. 10 Days of Prayer precedes the event and 90 Days of Blessing follow the event. They serve to help establish a lifestyle of prayer and service which will transform our communities all over the world.

The mission of the Global Day of Prayer is to call Christians from all nations to:

- Unite in repentance and prayer according to 2 Chron 7:14:

“…if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

- Work together as God's servants for the blessing and healing of the Nations

The body of Christ will come together with humility and love for one another as we seek to boldly build His Kingdom in our region.

At the same time, we’ll be united in prayers with Christians from all over the world, beginning with the sunrise in the east to the sunset in the west.

Prayer and the Transformation of History
by Dr. Bob Bakke, Executive Director of the Global Day of Prayer North America
