About the Massachusetts Prayer Network

This organization is part of the fifty-state United States Global Apostolic Prayer Network, formed in 1990 by a group of concerned Christian leaders who dared to believe the United States could once again be a nation "under God." Linda Clark is the Massachusetts State Coordinator.

Join Us for Ten Days of Prayer, May 17-27, Northfield MA

An invitation from Jonathan Friz

Jonathan Friz works with Rev. Jeff Marks and New England Concerts of Prayer. He is also a member of the Global Day of Prayer New England Planning and Implementation Team.

What are the Ten Days of Prayer?

The Ten Days of Prayer are modeled on Acts 1. God is inviting us to wait for Him for ten days of united prayer, just as the apostles and 120 in the Upper Room before Pentecost. He has not given us any promises about what He will do. He simply asks us, "Come, seek Me." Paraphrasing the words of Zechariah, may I ask you: "Let's go at once to seek the Lord of hosts--I am going, will you come too? (Zech. 8:21)"

The Vision

This past November, during a season of fasting with people around Massachusetts, I sensed God telling me to call 120 people together in one place to pray for the ten days leading up to Pentecost. I saw the 120 prayer missionaries moving between four different rooms of prayer:

In the first room, they were interceding for the Church.
In another room, they were sitting, listening in silence before God.
In the third room, they were worshiping God with songs and praises.
In the fourth room, they were listening as the Scriptures were read.
